Guiding       About our guiding: Indicator Birding is run by two highly experienced birders, with intimate knowledge of the areas we cover, as well as lots of wisdom on how and where to find those difficult species. Our philosophy of guiding is centred on maximising the birding experience for our clients. Given that most people have limited time, and many birds to see, this means that we need to take care of all the hassle and dog-work of arranging a successful birding trip. We try and minimise time wasted in transfers and logistical arrangements. Typically we take care of all your arrangements and bookings, and tours are built around comfortable accomodation in lodges, park rest-camps or B&B establishments. Where catering is not easily available, we make advance arrangements to ensure that you don't have to hassle about this. Our birding skills and expertise are borne out by the fact that we (together with Faansie Peacock) broke the previous record for Southern Africa for a Birding Big Day "Bird Race" - by recording 278 species in a single 24 hour period.
