Hi all

My team the "WITVLERKFLAPPE" have seen 191 species and pledged
R402.20. Just couldn't reach 200 again. During 1997 BBD se saw 197
species (PTA-Borakalalo-Vaalkop Dam-PTA), 1998 we saw 109 species
(Dullstroom, very bad weather conditions). Highlights during this
years BBD was Avocet at Borakalalo, Lanner Falcon North of Vaalkop
Dam, Meyers Parrot at Borakalalo, 8 species of cuchoos including
Great Spotted Cuckoo, Whitefaced Owl at Borakalalo, Greyhooded
Kingfisher at Borakalalo and Cuchoo Finch between Borakalalo and
Vaalkop Dam. We dipped on a lot of the more common species due to
some bad planning but wait for next year! We just cant wait.
