From a practical birding point of view, it is often more useful to use the concept of "birders endemics" for species which are most practically found in a specific territory. At the present time, most birders, are unlikely to have the resources, time (or in some cases disregard for their own safety) to visit the other regions where these species occur. For practical purposes therefore, we refer to them as "birders endemics". |
