Hyliota Camp
Erectile Dysfunction |

Hyliota Camp is situated some 60km from Panda in South-central Mozambique. The camp is some 40km from the main Panda-Mandlakaze "Back Road" and is reached by 4x4 through some of the most beautiful woodlands in Southern Africa.

Hyliota Camp is situated on the edge of a large freshwater lake, and the area offers a true wilderness experience. Elephants are still plentiful in the vicinity - although surprisingly secretive. The Panda area is best known as the site of an isolated population of the rare and beautiful Olive-headed Weaver, and this species has been reported from the vicinity of the camp itself.

Getting there is either via Komatipoort and the EN1 up to Inharrime, and then across to Panda. The more exciting and adventurous route is through Kruger, the new Limpopo National Park and via Chibuto and Mandlakaze. This "Back road" takes one through wonderful habitat, with several river crossings, wide open plains, extensive palm savannahs dotted with hyphanea palms, and areas of mixed woodland.

Hyliota Camp is situated within an 30 000 HA ranching concession and offers superb scenery, fishing, wildlife, birding and accomodation in one of Southern Africa's last unexplored wilderness areas.
